Description of Easilift
A mobile carpet lifting machine, consisting of two lifting towers
fitted with a 250kg worm gear lifting winch with a simplex webbing
lifting strap and sewn-in safety hook.
The Winches are mounted worm gear lifting winches with webbing,
straps and slings. The Proof Load/M.B.S. for each winch is 375 kg.
Each winch as a Safe Working Load of 250kg. Working together gives
a combined capacity to lift 500 kg. The winches are certificated
and numbered for easy traceability.
The winches are compliant with statutory instruments (LOLER) No.
2307 The Lifting Operations and Lifting Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
No. 2306 The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
A record of Test and Thorough Examination of Lifting Plan and Equipment
and EC Declaration of Conformity accompanies each winch supplied.
The Frame
Manufactured from steel and carries a CE marking and complies with
the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 1992. The towers are
adjustable between a span of 2 metres - 4.5 metres and height of
2 metres - 3 metres. The system also is complete with two 1 tonne
simplex webbing slings with a soft eye in each end.
A plate will be fitted to the Easilift stating:

Safe Working Load
The Easilift has been proof tested at its maximum height and width.
The Easilift has a Declaration of Conformity stating:
1 Name and address of manufacturer
2 Description of machine
3 Specify standards that have been used in its manufacture
4 Certificated and tested by a person with authority
The Easilift complies with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment
Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

by Lloyds of London.

Warnings
To be used by trained authorised personnel only
Easilift must be fully assembled
Lock wheels before lifting
The load must be spread evenly across both lifting towers and raised
horizontally.
The load must be lowered onto the holding brackets before moving
the Easilift.
Inspect all working parts before use, including webbing hook, safety
catch, lifting strap for wear and tear.
Do not use if any damage to lifting parts.
